Mintel Corporation
In 2022, a simple question from a curious Mintel employee , “Can we learn how to garden?” ,planted the seed for a meaningful partnership between Mintel and Maxwell Street Community Garden.
What followed was a two-year collaboration powered by Mintel’s Employee Resource Groups: Mintel Gives and Mintel Wellness. Together, their mission aligned beautifully with our values — blending hands-on community service, charitable giving, and employee well-being.

In the first season, Mintel volunteers joined us to learn the ins and outs of urban gardening while helping grow a stronger, greener community. From weeding to watering, their involvement supported both the garden’s needs and Mintel’s goals of fostering service, sustainability, and wellness.
This partnership became a model of how corporate engagement can root itself in local impact — cultivating not only fresh produce, but also community connection, employee growth, and shared purpose.
